Main ePublisher AutoMap Window
This window allows you to view information about ePublisher AutoMap jobs. Publishing jobs and composition jobs both appear here, one row each, with an icon that identifies the kind of job.
You also act on a job from this window. The commands on the Job menu, also available when you right-click a job, apply to the selected job whatever its kind: Run, Stop, Schedule Job, Edit, Rename, Duplicate, Delete, and View Log. Two commands open what the job published: Explore Output opens the deployed files, and Preview Output in Browser opens the deployed site in your browser. For more information, see Working with Jobs.
The columns are defined as follows:
Name
Specifies the name of the ePublisher AutoMap job.
Last Result
Specifies the results from the last time the job ran. You can see if the job completed successfully, or if any errors occurred the last time the job ran.
Status
Specifies the current state of the job, such as whether the job is currently running or ready to be run.
Last Run
Specifies the date and time the job last ran.
Next Run
Specifies the date and time the job is scheduled to run again.
Scheduled
Specifies whether the job is currently scheduled to run.
Preview Output in Browser opens a list of what the selected job publishes: one entry for each target that deploys, or, for a composition job, its single destination. A target the job does not generate is listed as (not generated) and cannot be selected. Selecting an entry opens that output in your browser. Because the address is worked out when you click, and no serving address is stored on a target, what opens is a preview and can differ from the address your readers use. For more information, see Previewing Output in a Browser.
